Who needs a dishwasher ...

When you have a sphynx named Reggie. *sigh*

I forgot (again) I can't let a pan sit out if he's around!!! I think
he had been at this pan for about ten minutes before I found him.
Little stinker!!

Did someone say warm laundry???

What?! You don't need to fold us too, do you Mom?

Reggie has no problem cuddling up right on top of Marley. He does this
quite often actually and Marley puts up with it too!!!

Happy 1-1-11!!!!

Well, Happy New Year to everyone and a very special 1-11-11 today!  Here we are standing atop a bookshelf hovering over the floor heater trying to stay as warm as possible!!!  Us Sphynx' wouldn't have it any other way!

Flannel Sheets!!!

L.A. is going to be getting rain for many days so what better way to
spend our days than snuggled in flannel sheets. "You should feel it

It is with a heavy heart

That today I said goodbye to my childhood friend, Tippy.  Here is an excerpt I wrote to my family and friends.

Tippy, November 1990-December 13, 2010

It is with a very heavy heart that we said goodbye today to Tippy, 1990-2010. We had him since he was an 8 week old kitten. He was the most loyal friend, comforter, and pal a girl could have. No one purred better than he did.  He enjoyed lounging in the sun and in his younger days was a very good hunter.  He LOVED being on your lap and you could guarantee if you sat down at night to watch T.V., Tippy joined you on your lap.

He passed away peacefully at home on the couch about 10 minutes ago.  My mom spent the entire morning with him, and I was fortunate enough to have spent the last few days with him as well.  He wasn’t breathing heavy and didn’t appear to be in any pain.  Really, this is the best we could have hoped for him as my mom and sister were going to be taking him to the vet’s very shortly.  He will be cremated and we will get his remains, along with a paw print memory. 

Writing this is helping with my grief, so thank you for allowing me to share with you the good memories of our boy.  Little did we know a trip to the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter 20 years ago, when I was 9 years old and Sara was 6 years old, would give us a sweet kitty boy to love and enjoy during our childhoods and into our adult lives.  We love you forever Tippy.
