Happy Halloween!...and Contest!!!

Happy Halloween to everycat and everybody!

Here's the deal, our mom has been meaning to do a contest now for quite awhile to give a deserving cat-blogger a fantastic book that she read called, "A Cat Named Squeaky"...Let's just say this book made her laugh, smile...and cry. But, it is such a good book (based on a true story) that I just have to pass it on and not let it collect dust here at home.

So here are the "rules":

  • Post a caption for the above picture in the comments section.
  • On Wednesday November 4th, I will announce the winner for the cleverest caption, or the one I simply like the best; I will then contact that blogger for their address to send them the book.
Let's hear those clever captions!!!!

A3 - It was certainly not the cat they expected as the earliest domestic cat! Far from being the short-haired desert wildcat previously assumed to be the first domesticated cat, this one is a hairless Sphynx.

"Well, it makes sense", one feline historian said; "Egyptians at the time were mostly hairless, so was this cat, and there IS the famous Sphynx monument! It all fits."
